Sunday Drive

Decided to take a scenic drive through the mountains.

I wish I would have taken pictures of up the mountain a little more...there were already people driving and hiking up to ski and snowboard down.  A little pre-season anxiety?  I think so haha

Getting Old

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm ok with being old............just as long as life is just like this couples.

Just found out that an old mission friend was arrested this morning and is going to be deported.

While I know we need to obey and honor the law,  it really sucks when good people have stuff like this happen to them.  Especially when they're 2200 miles away and you can't do a thing about it.  At least I can still pray. I guess that's one of the benefits....really freaking sucks!

Started it off dirtbiking a 50 mile course

Sergio Ran out of Gas so I stayed back and took pictures while working on my tan

Knocking in little china (Irvine) I came across this paper mache dragon head...after knocking the door multiple times I thought I would have some fun and take some pics.  Good times...until they finally 5 minutes later answered the door haha  Awkward!!

And then it happened!!

There's nothing better than finishing your last final for the semester.  It's an instant relief that leaves a permasmile on your face.  Yesterday, after my last final, I was on top of the world.  I came home, did some laundry, watched pans labyrinth, hung out with Alexa, played with Matix, 'Lexa's puppy, lost my Ikea virginity, and ate a delicious burrito

......and then it happened.

Alright....so I don't know how to say this exactly, so I'm just gonna come out with it.  I Mitchel Brandley, Canadian born, Vegas bread....am addicted to..

SPEED


There's something about that feeling when the adrenaline kicks in that makes everything intensify.  Your senses sharpen, pupils dilate, your heart beats faster, and your breathing becomes heavier.  It's that added sense of danger and on the freeways that greater chance of getting caught.  Something about it strikes this joyful string within oscillating those joyful sensations to every muscle and tendon in my body.  It's something I can't totally explain, but once it's been experienced there's no need to explain....you'll be just as hooked as I am.
