So it's been a while since the last time I've posted. Not that very much has happened, but just to catch you up on what's been going on.
Moved into my apartment. It's pretty much great.
"The Living Room"
complete with....wait for it..."THE MAN CAVE!"
:]
sparring equipment etc...it's pretty chill.
"The Dungeon"
Not really anything in here...just concrete floor, blank white walls and a pull string light.
It has been useful though...Tanner has put his old wheels in here, I use it to keep my snowboard gear in, and recently Tanner has been using it as his carpentry room to build his gf a dining room table.
"My Bathroom"...i know...that shower curtain is LEGIT
"My Room"
There's also Riley's room, Riley's bathroom, the kitchen, the laundry room, two closets, Tanner and Jase's bathroom, Tanner's room, and Jase's room, but I didn't feel like taking pictures of all of that.
Started the semester off with an awesome trip to Lake Powell
Our campsite was pretty legit. We had "The Blob", a bike ramp, a tube ramp, a party tent, tent city (where we slept) and about 10 or so wakeboard boats. Fun would be an understatement
"The Blob"
"The Bike Jump"
I met a lot of really cool people.
This is Ashton. I met her at Powellooza 2011 and we dated a couple of times. It makes it hard when you live an hour and a half away so that has all kind of faded out for a bit...we'll see what the future holds in store though.
Let's see...oh and sometime in October, I think, I got a job at Discount Tire. Money....woot!
Here is a sample of what I hope to do to Pocahontas...aka the jeep. New wheels & tires.
Also in October my parents (Rob and Tam) and sister (Melissa) came up for conference. It was my parents first time going to conference at the conference center so that was pretty cool to be able to be there.
Can't forget about Halloween. This was Lysh and I's pumpkin (I know my grammar is probably way off)
Oh and I also became a baby daddy.....no worries...just to this little charm, Lily.
Snowboard Season started and I got a pass to Park City.
Too bad there isn't really much snow this year :[
.....yet...always hopefull.
This is random, but it's a sweet truck I saw up in Park city and a good view of the mountains behind it. Someday I will own a truck similar to this one.
I just finished my second semester of college and I have to admit that most of my time went into my drawing class. It wasn't that technical, but I still had a lot of fun. Here are some pics of my projects.
"The Egg"
"The Paper Bag"
This one was unique...it was a 3 phase project starting with the pop can and it had to evolve into an abstract.
"The Abstract"
"The Shoe"
"The Surprised/Scared Face"
This one was to show first person perspective, but I didn't choose the BEST picture..fun though.
"Perspective"
This one was fun too. It started by painting the paper with 3 colors of tissue paper and then you were to duplicate a black and white picture all in ink. This took forever..20 hours or so!!
"Inked"
Lucky for me I really enjoyed that class and was able to get an A in it :]
After classes were done it was finally Christmas break and I had SO MUCH FUN!! I love my family. They're pretty much the most awesome people alive.....ever.
Matt made everyone HP wands for Christmas. The first parcel I got only contained the note "You Are A Squib" which was largely disappointing because everyone else was getting wands and because it's not mentioned in the movies, so I had no idea what it even meant. Good thing it was a joke and I got a pretty sweet wand. Thanks again Matt!
Dad, Melissa, Mike and I also got to go up to Canada. Don't you just love the prairie lands?
While we were there I was introduced to some of our Family Crests from my Dad's side of the family. Grunewald is my grandma's maiden name and it had some really cool meanings to it. Brandley came from my grandpas side and although I don't know what it means, it still looks pretty rad!
Oh..I also got a new shred stick for christmas! :]
Yay!! Bring on the fun!!
Also Tuesday and Thursday I made some changes to my room set up, got a desk and a chair and stole one of my roommates bean bag chairs. I think it's a nice change.
FYI Ikea has some of the sweetest things I've ever seen..If only I had an unlimited budget to spend there.
Lastly, I have to admit that I have recently been seized by a new terrible addiction.
Pinterest....pinterest has recently consumed my time and energy. Maybe this semester won't be as productive as I thought : 0
